IQ8™ Series Microinverters are the industry’s first microgrid-forming, software-defined microinverters, featuring split-phase power conversion for efficient DC-to-AC conversion. Powered by a custom ASIC chip built on advanc ed 55 nm technology, they support both grid-tied and off-grid modes with fast response to changing loads and grid events, easing battery sizing requirements. As part of the Enphase® Energy System, they integrate with the IQ® Battery, IQ® Gateway, and Enphase® App for full system visibility. Installation is simple with integrated MC4 connectors, and they are UL-listed for PV rapid shutdown when installed as directed. Microgrid capability requires IQ® System Controller 2™ and compliance with UL 1741.
