This cost-effective, rail-based PV module mounting system ensures simple installation, streamlined wire management, and exceptional strength. The FM System offers multiple innovative features, such as:
- Excellent Wire Management: Open rail channels accommodate both module and MLPE wiring for efficient routing.
- Single Tool Installation: Requires minimal tools for installation. A 1/2-inch socket fits all fasteners.
- Convenient Rail Lengths: The 10.5-foot and 7-foot rails are easy to handle, ship, and stock. Shorter rail lengths also simplify transportation and make shipping via UPS possible for kits with 7-foot rails.
The rails feature a unique internal splice design, allowing for economical use of shorter rails. This tool-free splice installation doesn’t interfere with module clamps or roof mounts.
Rail mounting is simple—there’s no drilling required. Parts can be brought to the roof fully assembled and ready to install. Simply position the adapter into the T-slots of the rail and tighten the bolt.
